Anatolia Festival 2009 - Assyrian Concert
This concert has become a tradition in the town of Enschede in the east part of the Netherlands. On february 22, 2009 Foundation Assyria - Netherlands hosts this cultural concert once again. This is being done together with the 'Anatolia Festival' institute of the Province of Overijssel and in close cooperation with the municipality of the city Enschede.
This years performers are the young and famous star Linda Hadiko and the St Aphrem Choir of the city Wiesbaden, Germany. Both will present cultural and traditional Assyrian music from Assyria and Eastern Anatolia. This all takes place under the direction of Musician, well known songwriter and teacher: Dr. Abrohom Lahdo
The concert will be opened by a speech of the city mayor Den Oudsten.
